IU International University, #SheTransformsIT, and Bitkom e.V. have joined forces and launched FRIDA, a project aimed at making women in IT more visible and giving authentic insights into the digital job market.
FRIDA stands for "Frauen in der digitalen Arbeitswelt" - Women in the Digital World of Work. But Frida is also reminiscent of the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, a symbol of the women's movement.
The proportion of women in the German IT industry is just 17%. We want to change that - together with more than 20 amazing female role models who share their stories with us.
