IU at the annual meeting of the UN Global Compact Network Germany

On 26 October, IU joined numerous German organisations such as RWE, BASF, Volkswagen, Deutsche Bank at the annual meeting of the UN Global Compact Network Germany.

The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative uniting 12,000+ companies and organisations from over 160 countries. IU International University of Applied Sciences is a proud participant of the UNGC and member of the UNGC network Germany, as well as a member of PRME, UNGC's initiative uniting institutions of higher education.

The principles of UN Global Compact are focused on human rights, protection of the environment and prevention of corruption.

UNGC and its local networks offer participants a platform to exchange ideas, share best practices in order to be up to date with the latest trends in sustainability.
